Three players with local connections have been invited by Hockey Canada to participate in Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under 18 Team Selection Camp.
At stake is a spot on Team Canada’s roster for the upcoming Hlinka-Gretzky Cup next month in Czechia.
The three players are Quinte Red Devils graduate Jean-Christoph Lemieux, a second-round draft pick of the Windsor Spitfires, and former Red Devil Maddox Dagenais, who was the 1st overall pick of the QMJHL draft last year.
Dagenais is with the Quebec Remparts.
Dman Jacob Xu played for the Trenton Golden Hawks in the 2024-25 season.
They are among the 40 invitees that will attend the summer camp in Oakville from July 29 to August 1.
