Line repainting is beginning on Prince Edward County roads.
Crews will be out touching up the painted roadway markings in urban areas through the evening and overnight hours.
Minor traffic disruptions may occur during line painting, with minimal noise. Orange flashing lights on the work vehicles will be visible.
Drivers who encounter a line painting truck are asked to slow down and stay well behind the truck, obey any warning signs, and wait for the truck to pull over before passing.
Wet traffic paint may splatter onto vehicles if driven over while still wet, and it takes roughly two minutes to dry when applied.
