Sidewalk snow plowing may be up for review in Prince Edward County for future winters.
During Prince Edward County’s upcoming Tuesday council meeting, council will consider a motion by Councillor Nieman, calling for a review of the costs associated with plowing the county’s sidewalks.
In the motion, it was suggested that some areas may currently be plowed which do not receive enough foot traffic to justify the cost, and that a review of the associated costs would be useful for determining the 2026 budget.
