Over $150,000 in contraband and unauthorized items were seized at Warkworth Institution last week.
Correctional Service Canada says multiple packages were seized at the medium-security institution between July 9 and 10, 2025 .
Items seized included tobacco, marijuana, crystal methamphetamine, oxycodone, “shatter” (cannabis concentrate), THC, “grabba” (Jamaican tobacco), cocaine, as well as drug paraphernalia and cell phone accessories.
The estimated institutional value of these seizures is $158,215.
