Breach of release order
On July 16, 2025 at approximately 2 p.m., Belleville police responded to a call at a residence in the city’s east end regarding a female who was breaching her conditions of release by leaving her residence. The release order specified that she must remain in her residence or in the presence of her surety. At 2:15 p.m., officers located the female who was not in her residence and was alone. As a result, a 32-year-old Gatineau resident was arrested and charged with failure to comply with a release order. She was held for a bail hearing.
