Docs By The Bay has announced that they have recruited another doctor to begin a practice in Quinte West.
Dr. Smita Sauvé has signed a Medical Services Agreements with the City of Quinte West and the Municipality of Brighton, and plans to begin practising at the Trenton-Brighton Medical Clinics this fall.
She will be building her patient roster from individuals currently on the clinic’s wait list. Patients will be contacted directly by the clinic as spots become available.
Dr. Sauvé holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Saint James School of Medicine in the Netherlands Antilles. She completed her family medicine residency in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has most recently been practiscing in Courtice, Ontario.
This is the sixth successful recruitment by the program this year, with the total number of doctors recruited since the program began in 2017 rising to 24.
