A Statutory Public Meeting has been held regarding plans to develop a new subdivision at Base31.
The meeting was held during Wednesday’s planning committee meeting, and discussed plans for the Village A subdivision, off County Road 22.
The new subdivision plan includes lot space for 244 single-detached homes, 171 townhouse units, and 66 stacked townhouse units. While three hectares of space are set aside for apartment buildings, the total number of units in those buildings was not included in the latest draft of the site plan.
The plan also includes a central park space with 1.5 hectares of space, along with walking paths through the area.
The committee accepted the information presented, and the proposal is set to return to council along with a report from municipal staff at a later meeting.
