A Belleville teenager has been charged after what police described as an unprovoked assault. The assault took place at West Zwick’s Park.
Police took a report for an unprovoked assault that occurred at Zwick’s on Canada Day.
Upon further investigation, a warrant was requested for the arrest of a 17-year-old female from Belleville.
On Monday, the teen, whose identity cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was located, arrested and charged for assault.
The girl was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in August 2025.
