A Belleville Swimmer has set a new provincial record.
17-year-old Francis Brennan swam 1:59:81 recently, in the 200 metre back stroke, grabbing the Ontario record for his age category, winning gold.
He also finished first in the 100-metre Free prelim race and 7th in the 50-metre Free.
Brennan now gets set for the World Junior Championships next month in Romania.
