A charge of voyeurism at a local high school against a Belleville man has been withdrawn.
In 2023, Belleville police arrested Shan Kao, 62 at the time of his arrest, after reports a volunteer was
recording images of a female without her knowledge.
On June 12, 2025, in a Belleville courtroom, the charge against Kao was withdrawn.
