In response to forecasted high temperatures, the Quinte West cooling centre at Duncan McDonald Memorial Arena will be open daily beginning Saturday, July 12, until Thursday, July 17, 2025.
When: Saturday, July 12 to Thursday, July 17, 2025, daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Duncan McDonald Memorial Community Gardens, 8 Couch Crescent.
The City of Quinte West activates a cooling centre at Duncan McDonal Memorial Community Gardens in Trenton when there are two consecutive days of temperatures of 31 degrees or higher or humidex values of 35 degrees Celsius or higher.
Splash pads are also open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in both Trenton and Frankford.
