A well-known face in Prince Edward County has been appointed chair of the board of trustees of WPBS-TV, the PBS affiliate serving Northern New York and Eastern Ontario.
Bill Roberts takes over the role after serving as served as a director of WPBS-TV since 2019.
Roberts has sat on Prince Edward County Council for several years, along with several local boards and committees and has a long history in broadcasting.
He is a former president and CEO of Vision TV and also held roles with TVOntario, the Canadian Association of Broadcasters and the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission.
