Building activity in Quinte West last month was on par with the year before.
The municipality issued 56 permits with a construction value of $7.5 million in June.
During the same month in 2024 there were 55 permits worth just under $7.7 million granted.
There were residential permits issued for 11 new single-family dwellings and seven apartments last month.
Year-to-date construction remains well ahead of 2024 with 274 permits valued at $89 million issued through the end of June.
During the first six months of last year, there were 238 permits with a construction value of $25.3 million.
