Belleville police are on the hunt for a suspect in a Sunday morning motorcycle theft.
At 6:52 a.m., Belleville police responded to a report of a break and enter at a business on South Church St.
Officers learned that between 3 and 6 a.m., an unknown suspect smashed the front window and stole a pair of Kawasaki motorcycles. One motorcycle was black, the other was silver. Officers in the area found one of the motorcycles but were unable to stop it.
Later in the morning, Belleville police responded to a report of theft of gas at a North Front St. gas station. The suspect was operating a silver motorcycle with no licence plate.
A male suspect is wanted by police for breaking and entering, theft over $5000, dangerous driving, and failure to stop for police.
