The real estates sales statistics for June are in for the Quinte region and for the most part sales and prices were a little higher than in May.
In Belleville, 60 single-family houses were sold in June at a median price of $550,000.
The month before, 58 single-family dwellings were sold with a median price of $530,000.
The median price is the one where half of the homes sold were priced higher and the other half lower.
Sixty-nine homes sold last month in Quinte West with a median price of $600,000.
In May, 72 houses changed hands with a median price of $570,000.
In Prince Edward County, 32 houses changed hands at a median price of $660,000.
The month previous, 28 homes were sold with a median price of $740,000.
And in Brighton, 21 houses changed hands in June at a median price of $700,000.
In May, 23 detached dwellings sold with a median price of $620,000.
