Northumberland OPP have charged a woman after responding to a call for domestic violence.
On Thursday, Just after 9 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance at a location in the township of Alnwick/Haldimand.
Officers arrived and took one person into custody. There were no serious injuries involved.
As a result, a 49-year-old woman from Cobourg has been charged with spousal assault, spousal assault with a weapon, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court in September.
