An early morning RIDE program by Prince Edward County OPP resulted in the seizure of cocaine and the arrest of one person.
Officers were conducting a RIDE program on Highway 62 at County Road 3 at 3 a.m. on July 1 when they stopped the vehicle.
As a result, an individual was arrested, and officers seized a quantity of suspected cocaine.
Fifty-six-year-old Yvan Leclair from Tyendinaga was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
