The Brighton building stats are out for June, showing a slowdown in construction.
Sixteen building permits were issued in June, compared to 18 in June of 2024. So far this year, 86 permits have been issued compared to 85 at the same time last year.
While the number of permits hasn’t changed very much, the value of the permits has dropped. This June’s total permit value came in at $707,000 while last June was $2,487,500.
The issued permits include four demolitions, three decks and two pools. No new residential units were approved.
