In a post on X on Wednesday, officials say they are aware of fake texts claiming to be from Campbellford Memorial Hospital asking for bill payments.
The messages are not from the hospital.
Officials say they do not contact patients by SMS for payments.
Anyone receiving such a message should delete it and refrain from clicking on any links.
