It was another record-setting day of heat in the Quinte region on Tuesday.
Environment Canada reported that the thermometer reached 32.2 degrees Celsius as of 4 p.m.
This beats the record set in 1967 of 31.7 degrees Celsius.
It’s the second straight record day for temperatures recorded, with Monday seeing the thermometers at CFB Trenton registering a high of 32 degrees Celsius, which edged out the previous record for June 23, which was 31.7.
The previous record was set in 1966.
