The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing has approved a zoning change in support of the Base31 project.
The request comes from a joint request by Prince Edward County and the landowner, PEC Community Partners Inc.
The zoning change is for the first phase of the site, known as Village A, and will allow the construction of residential units on the property.
PEC Community Partners Inc. plans to deliver a diverse mix of housing, including purpose-built rentals, to meet the needs identified in the municipality’s housing plan and support those who live and work in the community.
