8 Wing Trenton’s 424 Search and Rescue Squadron came to the aid of an injured hiker Thursday (June 19).
OPP called the base for help after the hiker fell from a cliff in Greater Madawaska, south of Pembroke.
424 Squadron dispatched a Griffon helicopter and crew to the scene where the hiker was airlifted to the nearest hospital for treatment.
