Northumberland OPP are investigating after a daytime break and enter at a home in Warkworth.
The homeowners contacted police to report the break-in, which had occurred on Wednesday between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m.
When the owners returned home at the end of the day, they found a door left open, food packaging left in the garbage, dirty dishes in the sink, and their bed had been slept in. No items have been reported stolen.
Northumberland OPP are seeking the public’s assistance with their investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
