Prince Edward County has announced it has received funding to install two new Level 3 DCFC electric vehicle chargers at the King Street parking lot in Picton.
The electrical work for the installation will take place from Tuesday, June 24 to Thursday, June 27 and the parking lot will be closed during this time.
The new charging station is expected to be functional in July 2025.
Free parking will remain available at the municipal lot on Mary Street.
