A 34-year-old Peterborough woman is facing charges after an incident Tuesday night.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. on June 17, 2025, officers were called about an unwanted person in the area of Crescent Street and Perry Street.
Upon arrival, officers learned that security had detained the woman after she spat on and kicked the security guard and refused to leave.
As a result of the investigation, a 34-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested and charged with:
- Assault – adult
- Disobeying order of court
- Fail to comply with probation order
- Failure to leave premise when directed to
The accused is currently bound by a probation order and a court order with the following conditions: to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court July 29, 2025.
