Downtown at Dusk returns to Downtown Belleville this Friday to celebrate the summer solstice.
From 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. the annual festival will transform Front Street (Victoria Ave to Bridge Street East) into a lively pedestrian promenade-filled with live music, artisan vendors, delicious food, street performers, and salsa dancing.
This year’s event will feature performances by Moon Sugar, Remedy, and Ed’s Garage, with Kobbler Jay wowing crowds with street performances throughout the evening.
The Mode Elle fashion show kicks off at 7 p.m., and from 8 to 10 p.m., salsa dancing takes over Front Street with free lessons by Jen Pacheco.
More than 30 local vendors will showcase handmade goods, and food trucks will offer everything from frozen treats to international bites.
Belly the Belleville Senators mascot will be on hand to add extra fun for families and fans alike.
