The 2025-26 budget has been approved by the Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic District School Board.
On Tuesday, trustees signed off on the budget, which begins in the fall.
Director of Education David DeSantis says board-wide enrolment is anticipated to fall just under one per cent.
The operating expense budget sits at $211 million, 1.7% higher than last year.
Salaries, benefits, and pensions for staff increase by 2.3%, or $3.5 million.
$48.1 million is allocated for capital expenditures.
DeSantis discussed some of the major projects to Quinte News.
