Northumberland OPP have arrested a wanted person following a traffic stop.
Just after 2:40 a.m. on Tuesday, officers were on patrol in the area of Elizabeth Street in Cobourg when they spotted a vehicle associated with a suspended driver.
The vehicle was stopped by police.
A passenger was recognized as a person wanted on a warrant.
Police say the person provided incorrect information to OPP regarding their identity.
Thirty-nine-year-old Tara Turk of Cobourg was arrested and charged with obstruct peace officer.
The accused was held to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
