Outbreaks at H.J. McFarland Memorial Home have been declared over.
The long-term care home had been dealing with a gastrointestinal (GI) and respiratory outbreak.
The GI outbreak, which began on May 21, ended on June 4. The respiratory outbreak, which began on May 22, ended on June 16.
Prince Edward County says in a release that the home will be returning to normal operations.
Mask wearing, while voluntary, is strongly encouraged by the home to ensure the health and safety of residents, visitors, and staff.
