Northumberland OPP have laid charges against two people after a report of drone activity in the area of Warkworth Institution.
Prison officials called police during the noon hour on June 6 about drone activity and a vehicle being driven in a field off County Road 30 in Trent Hills.
Officers located the suspicious vehicle and took the two occupants into custody.
Evidence related to the drone was seized.
Twenty-one-year-old Avinash Singh and a 17-year-old male, both from North York are charged with mischief.
Both accused are due to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date.
