Foul play is not suspected in a sudden-death investigation in Port Hope over the weekend.
The Port Hope Police Service and other emergency responders were called out Saturday after
reports of a missing elderly man.
That man was eventually found without vital signs in a body of water in town and despite lifesaving efforts by police and paramedics he was pronounced dead at Northumberland Hills Hospital.
The name of the man is not being released out of respect for his family.
