A fire on Highway 401 overnight closed lanes in our region Sunday night.
Sometime after 9 p.m., emergency crews responded to the highway near the Mitchell Road overpass, on the border between Belleville and Tyendinaga Township.
The fire shut down the eastbound lanes for more than two hours.
There is no word on injuries or a cause.
Traffic was moving once again by midnight.
