A Napanee man faces serious charges after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning in Belleville near North Front and Tracey streets.
The suspect vehicle had left the scene but its bumper and licence plate were left behind after the collision which occurred around 2:20 a.m.
The pedestrian, a woman, required treatment for head and facial injuries.
Police located the suspect vehicle in Napanee and charged 24-year-old William Savard with impaired driving causing bodily harm, dangerous driving causing bodily harm, and failing to stop at an accident.
