Belleville’s Transit Operations Advisory Committee will consider teaming up with County Transit to make getting around more convenient for people who regularly commute between Prince Edward County and Belleville.
At its meeting Monday, the committee will discuss a new monthly regional bus pass which would be accepted on both County Transit and Belleville Transit buses.
The cost for the pass would be $215 and Prince Edward County would receive $140 of the revenue with the City of Belleville receiving $75.
A discounted bus pass costing $165 a month would also be offered to seniors and specialized riders.
