A driver has been charged in a collision on Highway 401 that took place in November.
Northumberland OPP were called to a report of a single-vehicle rollover at around 3:15 p.m. on November 6, 2024 on Highway 401 west in the Township of Hamilton.
EMS and fire departments from the Township of Hamilton and Cobourg also responded to the incident.
Officers arrived and spotted a heavily damaged pickup truck on the north side of the highway.
The lone occupant was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Following an investigation, police arrested an individual on June 8, 2025.
Thirty-four-year-old Adam Stoppa of Belleville was charged with dangerous operation.
The accused is due to appear in July before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
