A long-time Quinte West business celebrated a major milestone Thursday.
Bay Marine on Old Highway 2 in Bayside, rolled out the red carpet for the 50th anniversary of the boating and motorsport company.
Wes Bristow is the owner of Bay Marine.
Audio Player“So we’ve been in the boat business for 50 years and in 2010, we took advantage of the powersports business and we brought on full-line BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products). That obviously expanded our business big time.”

Bristow adds a major focus of Bay Marine is the staff and giving back to the community.
Audio Player“Real close with everyone here and we are a tight family. We all do stuff together and we’re always big sponsors, obviously hockey teams and golf tournaments and other charities. We’re all about helping that stuff out for sure.”
