Six people have been charged in a Project Renewal investigation.
Members of Project Renewal executed a Controlled Drugs Substance Act warrant in Belleville’s east end on Tuesday with the assistance of the Belleville Police K9 and Emergency Response Unit.
Items seized by police include the following:
- 230.9 grams cocaine
- 39.5 grams Fentanyl
- 21.4 grams crystal methamphetamine
- $3490.00 Canadian currency
- Digital scales
- A 40 calibre Glock handgun that had a high capacity magazine containing 15 rounds
- Two prohibited knives
- Collapsible baton
- Eight cell phones
As a result of the investigation, the following were charged:
23-year old Haley Podniewicz of Belleville was charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamines
- Proceeds of crime under $5000
- Fail to comply with Probation
- Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
- Careless storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited or restricted firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
- Possession of prohibited or restricted firearm with ammo
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm
24-year-old Adriel Rodrigues of East York was charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamines
- Proceeds of crime under $5000
- Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition

24-year-old Sammy Bouzid of Gatineau, Quebec was charged with:

19-year-old Arianna King of Belleville was charged with:
