A Frankford man charged with bestiality will avoid time in custody.
Mathew Roppel, 38 at the time of his arrest last December, was recently handed a
suspended sentence, 12 months probation and ordered not to keep animals for two years.
In November, Belleville police received a call from a man concerned his dogs were being mistreated by his ex-partner.
The two shared custody of the dogs. Police were given videos showing explicit acts being performed with them.
