The month of May was normal as far as temperatures were concerned but far from it when it comes to rainfall.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton, almost 150 millimetres of rain fell last month, much more than the normal amount of around 80 mm.
Meanwhile the average high in May of just over 18 degrees and the average low of 8 degrees were very close to historical normals for the area.
