An argument led to significant vandalism in Belleville’s Downtown District Friday.
City police report a man and woman were arguing around 11:30 a.m. when the man became angry and
started damaging property owned by the city.
Officers arrested a 42-year-old man of no fixed address and charged him with mischief over $5,000 and breaching probation.
The damage caused was estimated at over $10,000.
