This year’s John Smylie Memorial Golf Classic in support of Trenton Memorial Hospital’s Emerge Stronger campaign is taking shape and it’s kicking off early with a special fundraising event.
Smylie’s Your Independent Grocer has partnered with the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation as the title sponsor of the 2025 event coming up August 8 at Oak Hills Golf Club in Stirling.
To kick off this year’s tournament, on Saturday, May 31, Smylie’s is hosting a charity BBQ and the TMHF Youth Council is holding a community yard sale in the Smylie’s parking lot in Trenton.
The yard sale runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the charity BBQ available from
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Proceeds from both events will go directly toward the Emerge Stronger campaign for the Emergency Department Expansion at TMH.
