Prince Edward County is preparing to accept a pair of collective agreements.
During Thursday’s Committee of the Whole meeting, the committee went into closed session to discuss a pair of collective agreements presented to the municipality.
Those agreements were with the Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 2275, and Ontario Nurses Association Local 31.
After emerging from closed session, the committee put forward a motion that a by-law to authorize the mayor and clerk to accept those agreements, be brought forward in open session at an upcoming council meeting.
That motion was approved without debate in the public session.
