Written expressions of interest for what to do with Wellington Town Hall are now being accepted.
The Wellington Town Hall Expression of Interest Working Group will be accepting written proposals for the building, with the deadline for submission being August 15.
After reciving the submissions, the group will hold a public meeting where the people who submitted their ideas can present them in detail. The working group will then prepare a final report for council with its recommendations.
The opening for written submissions follows two in-person public consultations and a public survey about the building.
