Belleville police have impounded a vehicle following a traffic stop in the city Tuesday.
An officer attempted to stop a vehicle in the east end, with plates that were not registered to the vehicle they were on.
The driver was found to be wanted by neighbouring police agencies and he was arrested.
Offenses against the driver include driving while under suspension, driving with no insurance and using unauthorized plates.
The 29-year-old male suspect from Shannonville has a court date July 7.
