Prince Edward County Mayor Steve Ferguson delegated some strong mayor powers to council on Tuesday.
These powers are with respect to the committee structure to establish or dissolve committees, appoint committee chairs and vice-chairs and assign functions to committees.
The county was one of several municipalities to receive strong mayor powers in early May.
