Hospice Quinte’s 2025 Hike for Hospice fundraiser has raised tens of thousands of dollars in donations.
The event, held on Sunday, raised $37,183 with additional donations still coming in before donations close at the end of the month.
Participants walked the two-and-a-half-mile course at Centennial Park in Trenton, in support of palliative care in the Quinte Region.
“This event is a powerful reminder of the strength and compassion within our community,” said Petra Lepage, Executive Director of Hospice Quinte. “Seeing so many people walk with purpose and heart reminds us that hospice care touches every corner of our community — and no one walks this journey alone.”
Weather had been rainy for most of the week preceding the event, however, Sunday saw a sunny break in time for the outdoor fundraiser.
