Staff and volunteers with the Belleville Downtown District Improvement Area have a busy summer ahead.
The organization has four major summer events planned.
They are Downtown @ Dusk on June 20, Buskerfest on July 5, the Caribbean Festival on August 16 and the
Blues Festival on September 6.
Representatives with the BIA will be asking council to allow street closures and food trucks at the events at council’s meeting later today.
Also, a Foxboro business owner will ask council to allow the closure of a stretch of Mudcat Road during the evening on Canada Day (July 1) to allow a fireworks show.
