A Belleville woman will appear in court after she tested for a blood alcohol level nearly four times the legal limit.
Belleville police responded to a report of a possible impaired driver around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Police found the motorist to be exhibiting signs of impairment after locating her in the city’s south end.
The woman registered a fail on a roadside screening device and was arrested for operation while over 80.
Further samples taken at the police station revealed her to be nearing four times the legal limit.
Thirty-two-year-old Alexandria Parkinson of Belleville was released from custody and will appear in court in June.
Her licence was also suspended for 90 days.
