The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board has relaunched the Work in Quinte website.
The web page is designed as a resource for both job seekers and employers looking to fill positions, with a focus on jobs in the Quinte region.
The website was originally launched by Belleville and Quinte West, before being turned over to the Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board, expanding its area to include Brighton, Greater Napanee and Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
The new version of the site features an application tracking system, allowing employers to post jobs on the site and receive applications through the web page. Job seekers can upload a copy of their resume to the site, allowing employers to search the active resumes for talent with skills they need, along with the ability to apply for job openings posted on the site.
The site is free to use for both employers and job seekers.
The website is also taking a proactive approach to eliminate spam, as all listings are reviewed by a person before going live on the site.
