Quinte West city council authorized a by-law that would extend a lease agreement with the Frankford Huskies Junior C hockey team at its meeting on Wednesday.
The agreement sees the lease fees waived for the 2025-2026 season.
The extension would kick in on July 1, 2025 and conclude on April 30, 2026.
Council will look at the lease again in April 2026 to determine if it will be renewed.
